Rainbow Six Siege has a famously strict and distinct recoil system — each operator's primary weapon has a unique spray pattern, and patterns shift based on attachments. A script that works for an Ash R4-C will underperform on a Jäger AK-12 because the vertical and horizontal pull profiles are completely different. Vertex Zens ships separate attacker and defender scripts to address this.
R6's per-operator recoil system
Unlike games where weapons have consistent global recoil, R6 Siege ties recoil to operator/weapon combinations. Key distinctions:
- Vertical vs. horizontal pull: Some weapons (AK-12, SASG-12) have heavy vertical pull; others (F2, R4-C) have a mix of vertical and lateral shift.
- Attachment-dependent patterns: Adding a flash hider vs. compensator significantly changes the horizontal spread. Scripts calibrated for one attachment setup may be off on another.
- Burst vs. full-auto: Operators like Maestro and Bandit have semi-auto/burst options. Rapid fire adds relevance here in the same way as Valorant.
VZ R6 scripts — attacker and defender coverage
Find all of these in the R6 Siege library:
- R6Attakers 9.2.3 — dedicated attacker-side script. Covers R4-C (Ash), AR33 (Hibana), L85A2 (Sledge/Thatcher), and common pick-rate attacker primaries. Includes auto-fire and aim assist.
- Veritas-R6-Attakers 9.2.3 — extended attacker coverage with Polar Aim assist mode alongside standard anti-recoil. Auto-sprint included for faster site entries.
- R6 Siege X Attackers — updated attacker coverage for the Year 9 Season 2 operator roster. Auto fire and aim assist.
- R6Defenders 9.2.3 — defender-side script covering AK-12 (Bandit/Jäger/Castle), MP5 (various defenders), T-5 (Smoke/Pulse), and high-pick defenders.
- Veritas-R6-Defenders 9.2.3 — extended defender coverage with separate anti-recoil and aim assist profiles per gun.
- GhostKill R6 PD — aims at close-range defender anchoring; optimised for TCSG-12 and DMR hold angles.
Ranked vs. casual risk
R6 Siege uses BattlEye anti-cheat, which operates at the driver/process level — not USB HID. The Zen is not detected by BattlEye. Ranked risk comes from Ubisoft's server-side accuracy analysis, which monitors operator stats. A new Ash account suddenly posting 80%+ headshot rates across 50 ranked matches will attract attention. Play at a believable improvement level rather than instant perfection. See also the full R6 Siege scripts guide.
