Cronus Zen Rocket League Setup Guide
Rocket League looks like a controller-friendly arcade game until you hit Champ rank — then every flip-reset, musty, and ceiling pinch demands frame-perfect inputs that human thumbs can't reliably hit. A clean Cronus Zen script gives you fast-aerial and air-roll macros that cut the mechanical ceiling out of the equation, so you can focus on rotation and reads. The setup below is the load order our Discord runs in Ranked Doubles.
What you need before you start
- ✓ Cronus Zen device — flash to the latest firmware before each Rocket League season.
- ✓ DualSense or Xbox controller — Rocket League supports cross-play across all platforms.
- ✓ USB-A → USB-C cable for power and controller pairing through the Zen.
- ✓ Vertex Zens account (free) — required to download the Rocket League script library.
- ✓ Cronus Zen Studio installed on a PC for compiling .gpc → memory slot.
Step-by-step Cronus Zen setup for Rocket League
-
Step 1. Flash & update Cronus Zen firmware
Open Cronus Zen Studio on a PC, plug your Zen in over USB, and hit Update. Rocket League scripts assume firmware v3.x or newer — older builds drop input packets under load and aim assist feels stuttery.
-
Step 2. Re-pair your controller through the Zen
Plug your DualSense / Xbox controller into the Zen's controller port (not directly to the console). Rocket League aim assist runs at the controller layer, so the Zen has to sit between the pad and the console for the script to do anything.
-
Step 3. Download a Rocket League script from Vertex Zens
Sign in to vertexzens.com (free), open the Rocket League script library, and download the .gpc that matches your loadout. Every script in the library lists features, downloads, and last-updated date so you can pick one that's still current after the latest patch.
-
Step 4. Compile & load the script to a memory slot
Open the .gpc in Cronus Zen Studio, compile it (F7), then drag it to one of the eight memory slots on the right. Save to the Zen, unplug, replug into your console, and hold the Zen's mode button to switch slots in-game. The Rocket League script is now live.
-
Step 5. (Optional) Personalize with Auto Tune V3
Run Auto Tune V3 with your in-game sens, ADS multiplier, and FOV. The AI refits the script's anti-recoil and aim-assist values to your specific Rocket League loadout — it's a one-click polish pass that survives most patches.

Common Rocket League setup issues
Fast-aerial macro launches me at the wrong angle.
The double-jump-to-aerial timing is camera-angle dependent. Lower your camera height and ball-cam FOV in Rocket League settings to match the script's reference values, or pull the Camera-Aware Aerial revision from the library.
Air-roll feels jittery after a Psyonix patch.
Psyonix occasionally adjusts air-control deadzones with seasonal updates. Run the script through Auto Tune V3 with the RL preset to refit the air-roll input curve.
Will Psyonix / Epic ban my Rocket League account?
Cronus Zen operates at the controller-input layer and is not currently detected by Rocket League's anti-cheat on console. Epic's policy treats input automation as a violation. Use at your own discretion and never share account credentials.
